Jetss Qb geno smith signs to roc nation sports

Roc Nation Sports just added its first professional football player to its growing roster. Former West Virginia University quarterback Geno Smith is now a New York Jet and a member of the ROC.
Smith will join Robinson Cano of the New York Yankees and Skylar Diggs of the WNBA’s Tulsa Shock as clients of Jay-Z’s latest business venture.

Smith was selected as the 39th pick in this year’s NFL draft by the New York Jets. During his senior year at WVU (2012), the 6’3” Miami native threw for 4205 yards, 42 touchdowns, and a 71% completion rate.
He left his alma mater holding the school records for career completions, touchdown passes, passing yards, and consecutive pass completions. He also holds or shares conference and NCAA records as well.
Smith allegedly fired his previous agents after he slipped all the way to the second round in the draft even though he was expected to be a first round selection. According to his mentor, former NFL player John Thornton, Roc Nation was now the perfect fit for Smith.
“It really all came down to who he was most comfortable with,” Thornton told CBS Sports. “I was in those meetings and Jay-Z connected with him on many levels.”
With Mark Sanchez’s noticeable struggles in the QB position for the Jets, Smith may get an opportunity to see some playing time as the starter in New York.

Rick ross to lose $3.5-$5milion with reebok

 Reebok’s decision to break ties with Rick Ross is allegedly about to set the Maybach Music Group boss back between $3.5 – $5 million according to a report by TMZ.
Apparently, Ross was getting paid every time he wore apparel by Reebok, but after he and the brand started to receive significant criticism for the rapper’s controversial lyrics in Rocko’s song, “U.O.E.N.O.,” the shoe company decided to end its partnership with Ross.
Prior to the dissolution of their business relationship, Ross did offer an apology via twitter saying, “I dont [sic] condone rape. Apologies for the lyric interpreted as rape. #BOSS.”
That statement was not enough to end the torrent of calls for Reebok to drop Ross, and on April 11 the company official announced that the deal with the Miami rapper was ending.

Several rappers including Meek Mill, Slim Thug, and Rocko came out publicly and defended Ross’ right to express himself as an artist. Rocko also suggested that Reebok owed Ross a lot of credit for making the brand relevant in Hip-Hop again.

“As far as the Reebok thing, I don’t think that was fair because what he brought to Reebok. People in my neighborhood, in my city, they’re back wearing Reeboks. It was a cardinal sin to wear Reebok before Ross started promoting ‘em. Ross stepped in and he branded ‘em and he got the urban market back in to ‘em,” Rocko told MTV recently.

Ross later offered another more detailed apology saying in part:

“I recognize that as an artist I have a voice and with that, the power of influence. To the young men who listen to my music, please know that using a substance to rob a woman of her right to make a choice is not only a crime, it’s wrong and I do not encourage it. To my fans, I also apologize if I have disappointed you. I can only hope that this sparks a healthy dialogue and that I can contribute to it.”

The second mea culpa came after Reebok chose to move on without Ross. The company issued its own statement saying in part:

“Reebok holds our partners to a high standard, and we expect them to live up to the values of our brand. Unfortunately, Rick Ross has failed to do so.”

kendrick lamar: molly rap is watering down hip-hop

Death To Molly,” are the final words on the screen at the end of Kendrick Lamar’s latest video for “bitch dont kill my vibe” Now the West Coast emcee is explaining the meaning behind his metaphorical killing of the present drug of choice for many in Hip Hop.
“When everybody consciously now uses this term or this phrase and putting it in lyrics, it waters the culture down,” Kendrick tells MTV’s Sway in a recent interview. “So it’s really just time to move on.”
References to Molly (a powdered or crystallized form of MDMA) has seen a rise in rap songs in recent years. The drug has also seen greater usage among young people.
According to a 2012 study by the National Institute on Drug Abuse, 2% of eighth graders, 5% of 10th graders, and 7% of 12 graders reported to have tried MDMA throughout their lifetime. Nearly 12% of respondents between the ages of 18-25 admitted to using the drug at one point.
Molly became part of a huge news story recently when rapper Rick Ross lost an endorsement deal with Reebok because of his controversial lyrics on Rocko’s “U.O.E.N.O.”
On the track Ross raps, “Put Molly all in her champagne/she ain’t even know it/I took her home and I enjoyed that/she ain’t even know it.” The lyrics were viewed by some as supporting or glorifying date rape leading to protests from women’s groups.

"Sometimes you have the trends that’s not that cool,” says Kendrick speaking in general about the overuse of Molly mentions in rap music. “You may have certain artists portraying these trends and don’t really have that lifestyle and then it gives off the wrong thing. And it becomes kinda corny after a while.” Kendrick’s ceremonial burial of the party drug is his way of pushing the culture forward past the “Molly Era.”

Faboulous pushes back "loso's way 2"

Fans are going to have to way to get their fix on the newest music from Fabolous, as the rapper has pushed back his upcoming album Loso’s Way 2: Rise To Power.
The BK rapper made the announcement at a tour stop in Los Angeles
He did offer details on the album, including that it would feature Future, Young Jeezy, Rick Ross, Ne-Yo, 2 Chainz and Trey Songz.
He was to drop on the same day as Kanye West and J. Cole, but now he’s claiming late July.
He did specify why he was moving it back.

Man, we all come from Africa, but that’s not going to help Snoop if the wrong Zulu gets pissed off!

MTV spokeswoman Alison Reid said:

“MTV Base apologizes if anyone was offended by Snoop wearing traditionalZulu garb on Saturday night. The outfit in question was a gift from a member of the Zulu royal family and a number of members of the royal family joined Snoop on stage. We believe that his homage to Zulu culture was received positively by all concerned, including the royal family.”

Well,at least he got the outfit from the royal family, but that won’t help if somebody on the come up decides Snoop Lion is getting to familiar. Some people don’t care about that top level co-sign. You gotta build with the streets! This isn’t the first time Snoop has crossed cultural boundaries and gotten in trouble. He upset Bob Marley’s family when he changed up to be a Rasta.
I don’t know. As long as he don’t change up to be Snoopy Zulu, we good.

Paris hilton signs to cash money records

Busta Rhymes, Drake, Nicki Minaj, Birdman, Lil Wayne and Paris Hilton all now have something in common. They are all apart of the Cash Money Records Family.
The socialite-turned-singer has signed to the iconic label, according to Rap-Up.com.
Paris told Roger Friedman of Showbiz 411 the big news.
The report says, “But the big news: this nightfly who is really a successful businesswoman is recording her second album of music right now. It will be issued by CashMoney Records and will feature many hip hop acts such as Lil Wayne. Paris told me Afrojack is producing it, and she hopes to have it out this summer.”
“This is a lot different than my first album. It’s really going to be house music,” Paris said.
The name of the album has not been announced. Her 2006 debut was Paris.

Business social networks find it difficult to attract young users, but one is using its data to match prospective candidates with the places that they may want to study.

Business social networks, such as LinkedIn, find it difficult to attract young users. 

For young people, joining a business social network is not a priority. The ubiquity and relative fun of Facebook compared with filling in a long ‘social CV’ when they have little work experience is a challenge that many refuse to take up until they are older.

There is also the minimum age limit of 18 for LinkedIn users compared to that of 13 for Facebook. It’s almost as if business social networks want to exclude young people from their networks; perhaps they are missing a significant trick.

According to a report last year from Royal Pingdom the average age of a LinkedIn user is 44.2 years old with 79 per cent of its user base being 35 or older, by far the oldest social media network demographic.

Naturally, some eager young professionals are proactive and join LinkedIn as soon as they turn 18, sign up for the debating society, join the rowing club and run for Sixth Form president while setting up their third start-up, but the majority see them as a place for grey hairs and fuddy-duddies.

Consequently LinkedIn and their like have an image problem with young people and one they should address. One such business social network, Viadeo is attempting to do this by matching business schools, universities and schools with prospective candidates for their courses.

Viadeo is the dark horse of business social networks. Profitable since 2009, it is known as the non-English speaking network. Strategic acquisitions in China and India have seen its subscriber base rise to more than 50 million with more than 15 million sign-ups in the past two years.
The company is also active in Africa and Russia and it is this global reach that means it has a huge database of candidates that are ready for further education either in their own countries or abroad.
Its School Pages platform allows schools and universities to showcase their programmes as well as letting them exchange with potentials students via chatting, picture, videos, alumni and followers.
This idea has also turned up some interesting data and where global students are trending on education. While the stronger economic clout in emerging economies means an increase in US and European applications from those regions, more Western students are looking to cheaper territories to study.
"The global recession has led to a dramatic shift in the higher education and MBA market over the last 18 months. European and US graduates are increasingly heading toward the more cost effective APAC region and in particular to China to study.
“Students tell us the biggest challenge is where to find relevant and practical data on the study options available to them. We are strong in emerging markets and we are well placed to efficiently introduce prospective students to the best schools”, says Olivia Claudeville, Head of Business Education, Viadeo.
Viadeo’s approach is interesting compared to LinkedIn’s offering and one that may indeed attract younger people, but this is not just a one-way street. Students also need to be as proactive in getting their future houses in order.
Having the courage to study abroad is a significant first step and finding the right course will broaden horizons and prepare them for an increasingly global workplace. The data provided by social networks can also be utilised by the user, however old or young they are.
But whether budding students are quite ready to change their Facebook picture and Facebook ‘brand’ into a more mature status is one that may take time. Perhaps kids don’t grow up faster these days after all.

The APPLE chief executive is likely to be asked to justify why his company reports a 25.2 per cent tax rate, yet pays 15 per cent to the US authorities and then sets aside additional cash for possible future tax liabilities.

The complex tax planning, commonplace in large companies, has allowed Apple to avoid criticism levelled at Google and Amazon over their tax affairs. Mr Cook has insisted Apple does not funnel profits abroad.

The iPhone-maker has $102.3billion in cash outside the US. To pay a dividend, Apple is borrowing $17billion at home rather than risk huge tax bills, which could be up to $9billion, by bringing its foreign money into the USA.

The Apple chief executive is likely to use his appearance to call for a “dramatic simplification” of America’s tax laws, in a move that could have a dramatic effect on the valuations of UK companies.

Mr Cook will lobby for a change in the rules which mean that companies bringing tax back to the US from overseas have to pay 35pc tax on that money.

He is expected to petition Senators for a reduction in the levy when he is due be grilled by about the way Apple has moved profits overseas.
Mr Cook told the Washington Post: “If you look at it today, to repatriate cash to the US, you need to pay 35pc of that cash. And that is a very high number. We are not proposing that it be zero. I know many of our peers believe that … But I think it has to be reasonable.”
American companies like Oracle have previously called for the repatriation tax to be reduced or scrapped altogether.
Such a move would have an impact on companies around the world.
Many US companies currently use their overseas cash to buy up businesses overseas, to help them avoid a massive tax bill, inflating valuations across the board.
The repatriation tax is thought to have been a factor in Microsoftﾒs $8.5bn purchase of Skype, which is based in Luxembourg, and Hewlett-Packardﾒs $11.1bn swoop on the British software firm, Autonomy.
The row in Washington comes as major US companies including Google and Amazon face a grilling by MPs over the amount of tax they pay in Britain.
The Public Accounts Committee is questioning the companies over the way they use loopholes to pay paltry amounts of corporation tax, despite racking up billions of dollars worth of sales in the country.

Tyringham Hall is a Grade I listed mansion built by Sir John Soane, with gardens designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens.

The property, which was completed in 1797, is spread over 37,000sq/ft within 59 acres of Buckinghamshire.

It has recently undergone a multimillion pound overhaul with the help of English heritage, which helped to restore the mansion to its former glory.

The 18th century neoclassical villa includes four vast reception rooms, a kitchen, breakfast room and study on the ground floor, with a spa, games, cinema room and gym areas on the lower ground.

There is a total of 32 bathrooms in the property, which includes a stable house that provides secondary accommodation plus a swimming pool and spa.
Tyringham Hall, which is owned by Anton Bilton, a property developer, has been put on the market through Savills Country Department with an £18 million guide price.

Mr Bilton paid £2.5 million for the property in 2001 when it was being used as a naturopathic clinic.
He then spent millions restoring it with the help of architect Ben Krauze and under the guidance of English Heritage.
Crispin Holborow, head of Savills Country Department, believes the house is one of Britain's finest homes
He said: "Tyringham Hall combines some of the finest work of Soane and Lutyens, and as such could be labelled as one of England's greatest architectural masterpieces.
"What's more, it is in exceptional condition having been beautifully restored."
Mr Holborow believes the property is likely to be snapped up by someone looking for a piece of English history.

He added: "It is enormous but also remarkably compact. It has some wonderful formal rooms so can expand into a party home or contract into a family home.
"It is right at the top of English homes, an architectural jewel. It is architecturally and historically significant and this will attract buyers."
Tyringham Hall was designed by Soane in the late 18th century for William Praed, a renowned banker and MP, and completed six years later.
It was one of a series of new country houses designed by Soane, who is regarded as one of the leading architects of the neo-classical period.
Writing in his memoirs, he described the period he was working on the house as some of "the most happy years of my life".
In the 1920s, then owner Frederick Konig commissioned Sir Edwin Lutyens to construct a substantial outdoor swimming pool, which is now an ornamental pond.
He also created the bathing pavilion and the Temple of Music, which was modelled on Viceroy's Palace in New Delhi.
Mr Konig died in 1940 and during the Second World War, Tyringham Hall became a maternity home before it was bought by the Australian and New Zealand Bank as a weekend club.

akon ordered to pay 5k monthly child support

Another day, another artist is ordered to cough up cash for their offspring. However, this time the artist in question wanted it.
Singer/producer/writer Akon filed a paternity test against one of his many baby mamas asking the court to establish custody, child support and legally recognize him as the two boys biological father.
After the tests proved that Akon was the father, he had to submit docs proving his monthly income — a whooping $40,000.
Based off of that the judge ordered him to pay $5,000/month for the two boys. That may not seem like much but considering that Mr. “Locked Up” has six other children the system didn’t want him going broke.

Kendrick Lamar is one of the hottest young emcees in Hip-Hop today, but the Black Hippy member still looks to some of the old heads in the game for inspiration.
K-Dot sat down with MTV’s Sway Calloway recently and revealed he appreciates the way Kanye West rolled out his new single “New Slaves.”
Rather than releasing a traditional music video or even premiering the track on radio or online, West projected a video of the song onto 66 buildings around the world.

“That whole marketing scheme is crazy,” said Kendrick. “It’s very inspiring. After a while you get to a point in Hip-Hop where certain tactics get watered down. How much music can you release on the Internet to get it hot? How many singles can you put out? How many videos can you possibly do?”
Over the weekend rumors began to swirl that Kanye’s upcoming 6th solo album will be titled Yeezus. While some may see this as a controversial name for the performer’s LP, Kendrick co-signs Kanye’s creative license as an artist.
“That’s that creative Kanye genius stuff out the box,” says Kendrick. “It’s art. It’s Hip-Hop. Whatever way is his way of being creative and getting his message across through that album, that’s the culture. Period. So, I can’t wait to hear it.”

Kanye West does not need promotion. Kanye West IS promotion. After premiering his new video and “single” “New Slaves” on 66 buildings across the world, Mr. West has already put his new album Yeezus up for pre-order on iTunes.

Curiously, 13 of the 14 tracks are listed with a run-time of 3:02 with the final one being 3:01. Kanye seems to be elevating the game to new heights and in Matthew 3:02 of the King James Version of the Holy Bible it reads:

And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

Jay-z destroys rumors ...

Beyonce slightly did it, but Jay-Z has confirmed that Beyonce is not pregnant at all. Well, it seems like Ebro of Hot 97 is getting his way all the way in as a media man, because he’s the one that shot down the rumor. Ebro hit up Jay and Jay replied, “It’s not true. The news is worse than blogs.”
Well, he has a point. I write crap called rumors, but a lot of new sites “confirmed” that Beyonce and Jay were pregnant, namely E!. They are a credible place where you should feel conformable running a credible story. WELL, they got it wrong. Hopefully, Jay-Z and them will shoot me and email the next time. I could have knocked this out over the weekend!

The smiths say no emancipation

News that 14-year-old Jaden Smith was hoping for complete independence from his parents broke earlier this week, but now Jaden and his father, Will Smith, are saying there is no chance that the young actor/rapper will be living on his own anytime soon.

“I’m not going anywhere,” Jaden told Ellen DeGeneres during an appearance on her show yesterday. “I can get anything and everything that I want at [Will's] house, so I think I’m going to be there for 20, 30 more years.”
Will claims that the quote credited to him that started the story of Jaden asking for emancipation was a misunderstanding.
“I think I made a joke in Tokyo,” said Will. “No, no emancipation for the Smith kids.”
“[Will] says as soon as I have a movie that’s bigger than one of his movies I can get my own house,” joked Jaden.
Both Smiths will appear in the new movie After Earth opening May 31st.

Pharell williams is joining Rihanna produced reality-show

Fashion conscious producer-performer Pharrell Williams is joining the team at the new Styled To Rock competition show on Style Network. According to the Hollywood Reporter, the ten-episode program is being executive produced by pop superstar Rihanna, and will feature 12 rising fashion designers battling to become a celebrity stylist.
“Pharrell’s unique aesthetic and commitment to individuality combined with Rihanna’s vision for this series will enable our aspiring designers to hone their craft and learn from the very people who set the trends,” said Salaam Coleman Smith, president Style Media.
Pharrell has extensive history of working in the fashion field. He is a co-founder of the Billionaire Boys Club and Ice Cream apparel lines, and he has also designed for Louis Vuitton in the past.
The N.E.R.D. member was also recently announced as a guest designer for BAPE’s 20 year anniversary limited edition collection

While recording for his upcoming mixtape Progression 3 and debut album Bigger Than Me Kirko Bangz took a moment to check in with AllHipHop outside of Miami’s Hottest Studio Circle House. “I just wrapped up my mixtape. Bout to drop it in 1-2 weeks. Right now, I’m just working on album cuts as well working with the big homie Rico Love learning the ins and outs of the melody R&B.”
With his mixtapes already earning him radio play, Kirko Bangz is finally preparing his debut album.
“The Album is called Bigger than Me. I got crazy [songs] on the album already, I’m just trying to take my time, do all the right way. [I'm taking] baby steps.”
Kirko also spoke about getting in the lab with the King of the South, T.I,  “We’re going to get in the studio and make some classic[s] for sure.”

ODB widow doesnt want that hologram of odb?

 Icelene Jones, the widow of the late Ol’ Dirty Bastard, has reportedly issued a cease and desist order to halt the virtual performance of the late rapper at the Rock The Bells festival later this year.
She told news magazine Rolling Out that she is the only person that can approve such an event.
“I am disappointed that Rock the Bells would not contact me directly about the use of my husband’s image,” she told Rolling Out. “I am looking forward to talking to Wu-Tang about this matter and coming up with a positive solution in order to bring my husband’s image to the stage once again.”
“My son, Young Dirty Bastard, [also known as] Boy Jones has always performed at Rock the Bells and looks forward to working with his Uncle RZA every year,” she said.

“Some people seem like they are afraid to commemorate him due to how he died,” Bizzy Bone told TMZ. “But Bone never once has, nor will, stop commemorating him.”
Eazy-E (born Eric Wright) died from complications from AIDS on March 26, 1995 at the age 31. He was one of the first members of the Hip-Hop community to publicly reveal that he had contracted H.I.V.
Within two years of Wright’s death two other major Hip-Hop stars lost their lives as well. According to Krayzie Bone, the violent deaths of Tupac Shakur and The Notorious B.I.G. are revered while the way Eazy passed away holds his legacy to a different standard.
“[Pac and Biggie] died being known as gangsta heroes,” says Krayzie. “Eazy died from a disease, so many look at that differently.”
Bone plans to showcase Eazy during their set at this year’s Rock The Bells festival with a virtual version of the former N.W.A. rapper performing along side them.

Changing the opinion of a man openly tells you you can’t tell him nothing and he’s a god is close to impossible. However, Tumblr’s Music Evangelist, Nate Auerbach wants Kanye West to come back to reality for a second.
Last week, West’s long time stylist, Ibn Jasper quoted the arrogant lyricist on his Instagram account during West’s performance at an afterparty for the Met Gala event in New York City. In an interview with Soundctrl.com, Auerbach claims Kanye was not an inspiration for Tumblr’s creation, however does attest that the Chicago rapper had an indirect influence on the revolutionary microblogging site:

“How many rap lyrics do you take literally? Lil Wayne says he’s a Martian. Tumblr is influenced by our users and by the creators on our platform. It would probably be more accurate to say that Kanye’s fans have influenced Tumblr. One of my favorite tumblogs is All Yeezy Everything.”

Prior to Tumblr’s inception in February 2007, West’s personal website kanyewest.com featured a very similar layout including a continuous scroll and a streamlined design for posting picture sets.
Chances are that the father-to-be has more pressing matters to deal with than validating his influence. Busta rhymes collaboration with drake an nicki?

Busta Rhymes has been signed to Cash Money Records for over a year, but the rap god has yet to collaborate with two of the brightest stars on the label.
He explained to Rolling Stone why he’s yet to get in the studio with Nicki Minaj or Drake.

Um . . . and you haven’t heard anything with me and Nicki. “Roman’s Revenge (Remix),” that was something I did on my own. It wasn’t like an official remix, so technically, we haven’t gone in to do a record neither. So, Drake and Nicki, we haven’t gone in, no. … It usually happens when the times are right or when the idea is right. … We’ve talked before. I’ve had several conversations about doing records with Drake, we’ve actually been in the studio trying to fuck around. Same with Nicki. It just . . . when we start an idea, sometimes you get distracted. The stars just hasn’t aligned yet for that to actually happen. I think also, schedule. They’ve been shaking consistently for the last two, three years, putting out an album a year.”

Busta said the he expects all parties to get together soon and already has something with Drake that he’s cooking up.

waka flocka going wild

While in New York City recently Waka Flocka Flame spoke about his lack of interest in Hip-Hop, his philanthropic work, and his move into television and film.
“I’m not a Hip-Hop fan,” says Waka. “I can’t even tell you where Hip-Hop started. God’s honest truth.” The 26-year-old went on to share that he is more interested in exploring other genres like EDM.
Outside of music, Waka revealed he is working on a show for Cartoon Network and a few movie deals. He is also focused on a several community-based projects.
One of his charitable ventures has hit a snag. The Atlanta-based rapper said he is having trouble getting approval to build a YMCA in his neighborhood.

drake gets 12 nominations for bet awards...look other nominations too

Toronto’s own Drake has been nominated for 12 awards at this year’s BET Awards set to air live on June 30th from the Nokia Theater L.A. Live in Los Angeles, California.
BET announced the nominees Tuesday (May 14) as rappers Kendrick Lamar and 2 Chainz were offered eight awards, A$AP Rocky is up for five, Miguel for four, while Rihanna, Justin Timberlake, Kanye West, and Miguel are up for a trio of awards for their work this year.
Drake was nominated three times for the video of the year (“Started from the Bottom,” “No Lie,” “Problems”) but will face some popular competition that includes Justin Timberlake’s “Suit & Tie,” Kanye West’s “Mercy,” “Adorn” by Miguel and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis’ “Thrift Shop.”
Chris Brown and R. Kelly are also set to perform, while  Chris Tucker will host the BET Awards.

odb and eazy-e holograms?

Ol Dirty Bastard and Eazy-E’s spirits will return to the stage at Rock The Bells this year, AllHipHop has learned.
The pair of Hip-Hop legends will have holograms performing this year at the 10-year anniversary of the rap festival.
Eazy-E will perform virtually with Bone Thugs-In-Harmony and ODB will rock with Wu Tang. Organizers said Eazy never blessed the Rock The Bells stage and ODB only did once.
Also, the “holograms” are approved by Eazy-E’s wife Tomica Wright and Ol Dirty’s mother, Cherry Jones.
Tupac’s Coachella appearance inspired the new virtual performances at Rock The Bells, organizers admitted.

yeezy debuts new song

Last night Kanye West premiered a new track at Adult Swim’s Upfront event at the Roseland Ballroom in New York City. Standing inside of a giant pyramid, the Chi-town emcee broke into his latest single. The untitled song is an EDM-inspired tune that features the lyrics “too many hoes in this house of sin.”
Kanye performed another new song, an auto-tuned ballad apparently dedicated to his girlfriend Kim Kardashian. He also went on one of his famous rants about his recent troubles with the paparazzi, his celebrity status, and his upcoming stint on Saturday Night Live this weekend.

Every so often, I get to do a good deed. Not a lot, but sometimes. Today is one of those days. Over the weekend, rumors sprouted up that Wale had actually smashed Rihanna. Now, before somebody go and tell Chris Brown about this one, let me clear it up. Basically, it all started when somebody got bored. The person got on their computer and got on photoshop and tried to craft a fake message from Wale. It just didn’t work. If Wale did something with RiRi, he ain’t saying it today.
Perhaps the rumors arose, because RiRi and Wale were recently seen in the studio working on music. Apparently, they went out and partied afterward

They say everybody has a twin. Well, Jay-Z has had a few in his day. But it looks like this one is particularly special, because its old NYC.

Here is what the NY Times said about this time warp image.

Yes, the New York Public Library swears, the old photo of the guy who looks scarily like Jay-Z really is an unretouched, un-Photoshopped image from 1939. “We’re 100 percent certain it’s legitimate,” Adenike Olanrewaju, a library spokeswoman, said on Friday. Here’s the original:

2chainz,lilwayne and drake contradiction!

Future seemingly has bigger fish to fry and Lil Wayne’s tour just wasn’t it. Now, there still are a bunch of rumors, including those pesky Ciara rumors. But, of all the ones that were sent to me, I’ve got the one I believe the most. I heard very simply from a source that an upcoming Drake tour offered more money than Lil Wayne. But, there is more to it than that. Apparently, Drake is working with Live Nation on his tour. Live Nation has a certain rule that you cannot book a show within 100 miles of their date. So, what I’m hearing Future is doing is booking smaller shows on his own between these bigger dates with Drake. There were come conflicts with the Lil Wayne dates, where he couldn’t book certain spots between tour dates. At first, I thought there may be some type of beef, but I don’t think that’s the case. I think its just a matter of mula.
Anyway, Lil Wayne didn’t lose…he added 2 Chainz!

I could be wrong, but this may be the worst week ever for Kanye West.
This is no Taylor Swift or GW Bush situation. This is just pure botched luck.
First of all, Yeezy ran into a sign trying to avoid the papz. Then the papz caught Kanye’s lambo catching an “L” going into Kim Kardashian’s compound. It got crunched when her dungeon-like doors closed too fast on the back of the Lambo.
